Why it matters
A slasher with a baseball bat twist that blends nostalgic small-town vibes with a relentless, bloody streak.
- Practical gore effects lean into classic ’80s slasher brutality without feeling dated or cheap.
- The small-town reunion setup adds a layer of uneasy camaraderie and buried secrets.
- Perfect for fans who dig murder mysteries tangled with their kill sequences.
- Not flawless—some pacing wobbles and cliché dialogue—but the blood and suspense carry it through.
