#Cult

#Cult (2026) plunges into the sinister underbelly of youthful escapism turned nightmare, spotlighting a brutal survival fight.

• Why it matters: Helmed by Vishwak Sen, who pulls double duty as director and lead, this film could mark a notable entry from Indian horror cinema, blending regional sensibilities with universal dread.
• What we know: A group of boys attend a party expecting fun but are thrust into escalating terror, highlighting themes of innocence corrupted and primal survival instincts.
• Who's involved: Vishwak Sen leads both behind and in front of the camera, supported by Gayatri Bhardwaj and genre veterans Murali Sharma and Srikanth Iyengar, suggesting strong performances anchoring the horror.
• The buzz: Early chatter hints at a tense, atmospheric approach rather than jump scares, positioning #Cult as a potential festival favorite and a fresh voice in coming-of-age horror.
