No one attends, the few inhabitants they find order them to be quiet and disappear into the darkness. The group split for help and strange and terrifying things start to happen, some of them are killed in terrible circumstances. Those who still live, increasingly terrified, discover the reason for all these murders. If they want to leave the village alive and the house where they are locked, they will have to survive in absolute silence.
Why it matters
A tense survival thriller that turns silence into a weapon and terror into atmosphere.
- Builds dread through sound design, forcing characters—and viewers—into a nerve-jangling quiet that amplifies every creak and whisper.
- A minimalist setup on a boat and an eerie village evokes folk horror claustrophobia with a modern twist.
- Fans of suspense-heavy horror will appreciate how silence becomes both a shield and a trap, recalling classics like *Hush* and *The Tribe*.
- Some pacing stumbles and underdeveloped characters hold it back, but the inventive concept and moody isolation make it worth a look for those who crave psychological tension over gore.
