Maligno

A claustrophobic urban nightmare where folklore seeps into sterile hospital corridors, twisting reality into a corrosive dread.

• Blends folk horror sensibilities with medical thriller settings, a rare hybrid that amplifies everyday spaces into uncanny terror zones.
• Practical effects and shadow play create a suffocating atmosphere, evoking the creeping dread of early Argento or Bava.
• Ideal for fans of slow-burning, mood-driven horror who appreciate a story that unfolds like a dark urban myth.
• Not flawless—some pacing issues and narrative ambiguity—but its unsettling imagery and sound design make the trip worthwhile for viewers craving something off the beaten path.
