DarkGame
A determined detective is in a race against time to stop a twisted game show on the dark web, where captives are forced to compete for their lives.
Why it matters
A grim, high-stakes thriller that taps into our darkest digital fears with a web-based death game at its core.
- Dark web horror meets survival thriller, riffing on the voyeurism and moral decay of online spectacle.
- Ed Westwick anchors the film with enough grit to hold your attention, even when the supporting cast falters.
- Practical tension takes a backseat to plot convenience, but the concept echoes classics like Untraceable and Se7en’s obsession with media and death.
- If you love tech paranoia and grimy procedural vibes, this one scratches an itch—even if the storytelling stumbles on the finish line.
