Beware Boiúna
Deep in the Amazon, a medical mission spirals into a fight for survival when Boiúna, a colossal ancient predator, awakens to reclaim her domain. In the jungle where nature holds absolute power, she decides who lives and who dies.
Why it matters
A primal jungle nightmare that pits human frailty against an ancient Amazonian terror, where survival means respecting nature’s ruthless laws.
- Channels the raw, claustrophobic dread of creature features like *The Descent*, but set in an underexplored South American ecosystem.
- Practical effects and animatronics bring the colossal Boiúna to life with visceral, tactile menace—no CGI shortcuts here.
- Explores ecological horror through indigenous mythology, grounding cosmic-scale terror in cultural roots rather than generic monster tropes.
- Ideal for fans of slow-burn atmospheres that build dread through environment and folklore, not just jump scares.
