Sam Ventures into Space in New 'Trick ‘r Treat: Witching Hours' Graphic Novel

Sam, the pumpkin-headed arbiter of Halloween justice, is set to return in a brand new graphic novel, 'Trick ‘r Treat: Witching Hours', as reported by Bloody Disgusting. Legendary Comics and Rocketship Entertainment have unleashed a trailer showcasing four fresh tales following Sam on his supernatural adventures, including a surprising extraterrestrial voyage where he brings chaos to the stars. This marks a thrilling expansion of the Trick 'r Treat universe, promising to take horror fans beyond the usual suburban setting into the realm of cosmic horror.

Set to be released on October 13, 2026, the graphic novel arrives just in time to fuel Halloween festivities, signaling a new chapter for fans of Michael Dougherty's perennial seasonal artifact. By exploring new frontiers, the graphic novel aims to preserve the spirit of its cinematic predecessor while expanding its mythos in unexpected ways.

As with Dougherty’s original film, the stories are expected to balance dark humor, folklore, and the macabre, appealing to both long-time adherents and newcomers to the tradition of 'Trick ‘r Treat'. This latest installment is likely to tantalize both the nostalgic video store hounds and digital native audiences with tantalizingly fresh horror content. With its release, 'Trick ‘r Treat: Witching Hours' promises to cement itself as a must-read for fans who embrace the cosmic undercurrents lurking beneath Sam’s quaintly sewn burlap mask.
