Death Machine
Chaank Armaments is experimenting with the ultimate fighting machine which is part human - part machine. So far, the Hardman project has been unreliable and has killed a number of innocent people. The genius behind this project is Jack who lives in a world of models, toys and magazines. When he is fired by Cale for killing a few corporate officers, he unleashes the ultimate killing machine called the 'Warbeast' against Cale and those who would help her.
Why it matters
A cybernetic bloodbath where ’90s tech paranoia meets over-the-top practical effects and gleeful body horror carnage.
- Practical effects and animatronics by Tom Savini elevate the Warbeast into a tactile nightmare, long before CGI domination.
- Perfect for fans of ’90s sci-fi horror grindhouse, blending RoboCop-style corporate dystopia with splattery, gory set pieces.
- A cult oddity that wears its B-movie heart on its sleeve—unapologetically pulpy, with campy dialogue and absurd action.
- More fun than coherence, a fever dream of mechanical menace and human hubris that captures the decade’s techno-fear zeitgeist.
